A crucial ingredient to creating a bulletproof race
engine or high performance street enngine is the valve
train. Stock springs and retainers will NOT handle
the job. Valve float can destroy your engine in a
matter of seconds. The fix is a set of SuperTech dual
valve springs and titanium retainers. They will insure
that your valves will follow the profile of the camshaft
so that the valves will not interfere (hit) the pistons
or hit each other on the overlap cycle.
In order to withstand the heat of that big turbo,
SuperTech makes stainless steel valves. Available
in dished or flat top (for higher compression) and
in standard or oversized diameters, you cannot buy
a stronger valve. All valves are nitride coated for
extra strength.

Now that you have that high flowing cylinder head,
you need to keep it attached to your block. ARP head
stud kits will get the job done whether it is for
a high compression all motor or a 50lbs of boost turbo
monster. ARP studs are made from 8740 heat treated
alloy, black oxide coated and thread rolled to increase
strength by over 1000% for a clamping pressure in
excess of 200,000 psi.
